Hot And Still Happy

This week I have been reminded that Southern Spain is right next to Africa. I honestly think I sweat 90% of the day, including some sleeping time. The only comfortable place is our piso living room, and thats because we blast the air conditioning and have our table basically right under the a/c. We´re hitting about 112 ª F every afternoon. For those of you that are from Arizona or Texas or other such states, remember that I am from North Idaho. Yup. Land of the 70-80ª summers. So I´ve been drinking lots of water and the Spanish version of Powerade. good stuff.

Besies the heat its been a good week. Its amazing that I can say that eveyr week, but its true. We have no investigators basically and have passed by almost all the old investigators and every less active we know about in our area. We are searching and praying and sweating. But I´m still happy. Crazy, right? Extremely. And it´s all due to the Lord. He has given me so much, and I can feel the Holy Ghost with me, and its such a comfort. And I have hope. I am filled with so much hope for the future, for tomoorow, for today! That today is the day that I will grow a little, learn a little, become a little more perfect. How awesome is that.

This week I´ve been experiencing lots of what I´ve started calling ´´ Abraham moments´´. Lots of times where I have a prompting to act, even when it seems odd. And sometimes, nothing comes of it. I´ve decided to never question if its a prompting, to just act and show the Lord my faith. Even if no one opens the random door we knock, I showed the Lord I was trying to listen. Just like President Hinkley said, that if it leads us to do something good, it´s from God. So why not? It´s really helped my faith grow this week and I feel like I can feel the Spirit so much stronger than even just a few weeks ago. The Lord just loves to bless us!

Karina is doing awesome. We´re really working to teach her youngest son Greco so that when he turns 8 at the end of the month he´ll be ready to be baptized.
It´s my last full week in Sevilla. Six months working here, and growing SO much. The next email you´ll be finding out where I´m going to next!
Love you all! Don´t forget that Heavenly Father loves you so much too. Email hugs!
